Design DNA

Ivory page with a navy-blue serif in wide letterspaced caps and a fine script for accents. Daypart chapters (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Aperitivo, Events) are each staged on a gold-rimmed porcelain plate that holds the heading, with two or three small photo prints scattered around it like a table setting and pale green line drawings of shrimp, glasses and leaves in the margins. Between chapters sit full-bleed turquoise aerial shots of surf with a centred script line over them. The footer is a deep teal panel with four link columns and a large watermark monogram.

Worth borrowing

Use a repeating photographed object (a rimmed plate) as the frame for every section heading.
Scatter small drop-shadowed photo prints around a centred motif instead of a grid.
Cut between chapters with full-bleed aerial surf stills carrying one script line.
