Design DNA

Template: a wedding invitation site in one colour, crimson (#D0112B) on warm off-white (#FFFDF8). A light condensed serif sets the uppercase couple names and every heading, with small serif body copy. Photos and text sit in perforated ticket and boarding-pass frames with rotated side stubs and a barcode. The 'All day pass' ticket carries a hand-drawn line portrait of the couple. The story timeline is a column of dated ticket cards, the day's schedule is a centre-line timeline with red line icons (church, glasses, cake, disco ball), then hotel cards in ticket frames, an RSVP form in a red panel and a strip of photos.

Worth borrowing

Frame every photo and date card as a perforated ticket stub so the whole invitation reads as an event pass.
Build the day's schedule as a centre-line timeline with alternating single-colour line icons for each moment.
Keep the site to one ink colour on cream, with line drawings and duotone framing instead of a second hue.
