Design DNA

No hero, no headline: the page opens straight into a free-floating grid of project and news images placed at four or five different widths, left, right and centre, with large white gutters between them. Every image carries a two-line caption in a small neutral sans, an eyebrow ('News', 'Project', 'Publication') plus date in grey above the title in black. The only colour comes from the photography itself, which mixes finished buildings, models, renders and books. A thin top bar holds five lower-case nav items and a search glyph; the mobile version collapses it to a floating 'Menu' pill.

Worth borrowing

Drop the hero entirely and let a scattered, multi-width image index be the home page.
Label every tile with a grey eyebrow plus date over a black title so one grid can mix news, projects and publications.
Vary image widths across five steps while keeping the vertical rhythm loose to create a gallery-wall feel.
