Design DNA

Template: near-white and ink with chrome-blue liquid gradients (#9FC7DA to #0E2A38) and true black bands. A high-contrast didone-ish serif runs from a 100px hero lockup down to 20px italic pull-quotes, set against 10px letterspaced mono labels in brackets — (01), (SELECTED WORKS). Selected work is a typographic index: year, project name in serif, discipline, thin rules. Portraits are motion-blurred and colour-graded cold. A scrambling letter-reveal headline, an oversized 'Testimonial' word clipped by a white block, and glass phone mockups on chrome tables carry the rest.

Worth borrowing

Present the portfolio as a typographic index — year, serif project name, discipline, hairline rule — instead of thumbnails.
Clip an oversized display word with a solid block so only part of the letterform shows above the testimonial list.
Pair a 100px high-contrast serif with 10px letterspaced mono eyebrows in brackets for section numbering.
