Design DNA

White canvas, 11-12px sans body text set in narrow measures and dropped into an irregular grid wherever a photograph leaves room, so text and image share one continuous column system. Photographs vary from full-width murals to stamp-sized details; nothing is cropped to a uniform ratio. Inline links are underlined inside the running text. The header is a thin bar with the wordmark, a burger and an 'About project' link. No colour of its own: the murals supply all of it.

Worth borrowing

Let body text occupy grid cells left over by photographs instead of running in one fixed column.
Mix mural-scale and thumbnail-scale images in the same grid to imply an archive.
Keep the chrome to one hairline bar so long-form content owns the page.
