Design DNA

Warm cream page with a black announcement bar, a very heavy uppercase grotesk for headlines, monospace for UI labels and an orange accent used as bracketed toggle states ([X] FEATURED). The hero headline sits over a field of orange ASCII characters that dissolves downward. Tool cards are pale rounded panels with code snippets fading to orange gradients and app screenshots, switchable between featured, bento and tree views. A black blog band holds cards with ASCII-pattern thumbnails and sticker-like titles; the footer lists links as mono file-tree branches.

Worth borrowing

Render the hero texture as orange ASCII characters that thin out below the headline.
Offer view toggles as mono bracket checkboxes ([X] FEATURED / [ ] TREE).
Format footer links as a file tree with branch glyphs.
