Design DNA

Template: near-black #0B0B0D page with a light sans in sentence case and no display face, so all colour comes from stage-gel photography in magenta, cyan and amber. Numbered value cards use portrait photos with a label pinned low; instructors are four vertical portraits each lit in a different gel with name and role beneath. A ghosted marquee ('BEST DANCE EVENTS', 'DANCE REVOLUTION') runs over photo bands, events are a two-up grid with date and style labels, and stats sit inline with a short paragraph.

Worth borrowing

Shoot every portrait under a different coloured gel so a black page still reads as colourful.
Run a ghosted word marquee across a photo band to mark the events section.
Label event cards with date and dance style in small caps pinned to opposite corners.
