Design DNA

Template: pale lilac-grey #EEE9F0 paper with oxblood #6B0F1F type and a full oxblood band for selected work. Headlines in a tall condensed serif (right-aligned on desktop) with small tracked caps eyebrows like 'PORTRAITS / STORIES'. Hero pairs a short intro bottom-left with a black-and-white portrait in a tall arch frame. Work band stacks one large and two smaller portraits with caption rows (name / series / year). Approach section uses italic serif pull text and two outlined cards; the CTA sits in a lilac arch-topped panel. Short, calm, consistent.

Worth borrowing

Frame the hero portrait in a tall arch and repeat the arch shape on the closing CTA panel.
Caption every photo with a tracked caps line: subject / series / year.
Switch one band to a saturated oxblood ground so the portfolio section reads as a gallery wall.
