Design DNA

Template: black (#000) canvas, white light grotesque type, no accent colour: the work supplies red, coral and amber. Full-bleed hero photo (a face in red lilies) with the project name bottom left. Featured work is an asymmetric collage of mixed-size images at different offsets with tiny two-line captions. A large left-aligned statement in light grotesque, then a four-up news strip and a sparse columned footer with dates and titles.

Worth borrowing

Let the portfolio images carry all the colour on a black, type-only frame.
Featured work as an asymmetric collage with each image at its own size and offset.
Tiny two-line captions (project / discipline) above each image instead of cards.
